Precasting & Reinforcement

We have an 800m² precasting facility, equipped with an overhead crane and a 16m x 4m tilting table. The size of the elements we are able to produce is limited only by the means of transport and the crane’s 20 tonne capacity.

A storage area of several thousand square metres allows us to store precast elements before dispatching them to the worksites. CBL also has its own fleet of trucks to transport these elements.

The main advantage of this type of workshop is that it can quickly meets any requests without having to use subcontractors, especially for specific precast elements to be produced in variable quantities and with very short lead times. The other advantage is a financial one: the cost of in-house production is lower than that of having these products made by an external company.

Our precasting team at our headquarters made several concrete elements for the apartment block A in Luxembourg-Gasperich:

• Exterior access stairs made of acid-etched concrete
• Benches and flower planters
• Internal staircases made of rough concrete
