The  joint venture CLE / CBL is proud to announce the launch of a major project: the construction of the future administrative building for the Luxembourg Railways (CFL).
This large-scale construction project reflects a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and technical excellence.

A Modern and Functional Building

Located in the heart of a strategic area, the building will occupy a footprint of 120 m by 35 m. It will include:

  • Three underground levels, with a total surface of 11,700 m²
  • A ground floor of 4,050 m², including a spacious central atrium
  • Four office floors, totaling 14,250 m², also incorporating the atrium
  • A hybrid structure, with a 15,750 m² concrete base and a 14,250 m² timber superstructure

A Sustainable and Certified Project

From its design phase, the project integrates high environmental and technical standards, aiming for BREEAM, WELL, and collaborative management through BIM (Building Information Modeling) certifications.
These commitments highlight the determination of CFL and its partners to construct a sustainable building that promotes occupant well-being and is optimized throughout its entire lifecycle.

Construction includes essential components critical to the success of the project, notably:

  • Installation of temporary infrastructure: site facilities, site security, logistics, and temporary electrical installation
  • Geothermal systems for environmentally friendly energy production
  • Dismantling of the existing temporary parking lot
  • Execution of structural works, including concrete, timber, and steel structures
  • Interior and exterior finishing works
  • Sanitation works, underground networks, as well as roadworks and utilities (VRD)
  • Creation and landscaping of green spaces
